Jeff Rose is not taking the rebirth of his lifelong dream of working in the entertainment industry for granted in any way. The current state of his career is far more successful than he might have imagined just a few years ago when family illnesses forced him to relocate back to Atlanta from what was already becoming a successful run in film and television in Los Angeles.
At one time resigned to the seeming reality that his dreams would be lost forever, Jeff is again working non-stop as a professional actor in television and film, and has re-established himself in the advertising industry with a multitude of national and regional television and radio commercials.
Jeff is an award winning actor, director, and producer who is known for his simultaneously recurring roles in three very popular TV series:
Along with a fabulous regular cast, Jeff guest stars frequently opposite names such as Cybil Sheperd, Natasha Henstridge, Chad Lowe, and Kathy Griffin, as LA power attorney Doug Resnick on Lifetime Television's hit dramedy, "Drop Dead Diva". He is also recognized from another huge Lifetime TV hit, "Army Wives", where he recurred as Major Bryce Ogden. Kayla is eleven and has performed multiple roles on TV's "It's Supernatural" and is a primary character in the new web series, "Take Two".
And, Brody, who is nine years old, is one of New York and Hollywood's young stars on the rise. He recently helmed the lead role of "Zack Martin" in Lifetime Television's successful holiday movie "Christmas on the Bayou". In the film, Brody stars opposite Ed Asner, Hilarie Burton, and Markie Post. Look for Brody next opposite Antonio Banderas in the live action sequences of the new "Spongebob Squarepants" feature film and as a young Paul Britain in "Nigel & Oscar vs Sasquatch".
As doors of blessing continue to open for Jeff, he now finds himself a successful film director and producer, and the owner of Four Roses Entertainment, also based in Georgia. The first film Jeff wrote and produced, "Battaglia", a short based on his grandfather's experiences in battle in Italy during WWII, beat out hundreds of films to become a Top Five Finalist in the 2005 Amazon/Tribeca Short Film Competition. His company's film, "My Christmas Soldier", received national and international distribution, being released on November 7, 2006. The film, based on a true story about German P.O.W.'s who were sent by train through Georgia on Christmas Eve, 1943, features narration by Mac Powell, the lead singer for the Grammy and Dove winning band, Third Day. Jeff originally met Third Day after being cast in the lead role of the music video for their single, "It's a Shame" (WIRE, 2005), and is proud to be good friends with the entire band.
Jeff is also an accomplished acting coach, gratefully nurturing the talent of some of today's stars of the stage and screen.
As always, Jeff thanks God for directing his path, and his family for supporting and encouraging the journey.
